Cupping Therapy / Gua Sha
Release Tension, Improve Circulation, and Restore Balance
Service Description
Cupping and Gua Sha are traditional healing techniques used in Oriental Medicine to enhance circulation, relieve muscle stiffness, and promote detoxification. By stimulating the body's natural healing process, these therapies help reduce pain, release deep muscle tension, and improve overall well-being. Types of Cupping Therapy: ✔ Fire Cupping – Heated glass cups create a stronger suction effect, increasing blood flow, relaxing muscles, and relieving chronic tension. ✔ Suction Cupping – Plastic cups with a suction pump provide a controlled, heat-free alternative, making it ideal for sensitive skin. ✔ Moving Cupping (Gliding Cupping) – A dynamic technique where cups are gently glided over the skin using oil, combining cupping with manual therapy to improve lymphatic drainage, reduce fascial adhesions, and enhance muscle recovery. What is Gua Sha? Gua Sha is a manual scraping therapy that uses a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape the skin, promoting blood circulation, reducing tension, and breaking up fascial adhesions. This therapy is particularly effective for treating muscle pain, inflammation, and stagnant energy (Qi). 🔹 How Gua Sha Works: ✔ Stimulates microcirculation to oxygenate tissues and remove toxins ✔ Releases muscle knots and adhesions ✔ Supports lymphatic drainage & detoxification ✔ Enhances immune function & reduces inflammation Benefits of Cupping & Gua Sha Therapy: ✔ Relieves muscle stiffness & chronic pain ✔ Enhances circulation & speeds up recovery ✔ Reduces inflammation & promotes detoxification ✔ Relaxes the nervous system & reduces stress ✔ Supports respiratory & digestive health ✔ Boosts skin health & natural radiance (especially with facial Gua Sha) These deeply therapeutic, non-invasive treatments are effective as standalone therapies or combined with acupuncture for enhanced results. 📅 Book your Cupping & Gua Sha session today and experience the benefits of ancient healing for modern wellness.
